Sales listings look plentiful, but most are one project posted under many job titles, and a few are not AI training at all. The detail below comes from the sales postings and the platforms’ own pages, read 13 October 2026.
Three different jobs share the sales label
Of the 83 open sales and CRM listings, 72 are the same Ethos project, posted once per job title. By platform the split is Ethos (72), micro1 (5), Terac (5) and Mercor (1).
- A slide-deck project (Ethos). Account executives, business development reps, enablement leads and pre-sales engineers are asked to create and refine AI-generated presentations. One Ethos profile covers every listing, as our Ethos page explains.
- CRM and revenue-systems audits (micro1). Admins and RevOps people find where a SaaS company’s rules, data and automations disagree.
- Phone outreach and paid interviews (Terac). One role recruits experts by phone. The rest are one-off sessions.
The Ethos deck work follows your job title
Ethos postings name different decks for different functions. Agency client-services postings list client pitch decks, results readouts and RFP responses. Enablement postings list battlecards, first-call decks and playbook slides. Pre-sales postings list demo storyboards and proof-of-concept readouts.
Every posting asks for expert PowerPoint and years at a named kind of firm. Account executives need a high-growth B2B or SaaS company. Client-services roles need a recognised agency. The postings say fully remote, flexible hours with a weekly maximum, and a start as soon as possible.
The 72 listings carry only 3 different rates. The rate follows the function the posting names, not the hours you work.
| Stated rate an hour | Listings | Titles, for example |
|---|---|---|
| $70 | 18 | Account Manager, Agency Account Director, Client Services Director |
| $80 | 20 | Commercial Director, Commercial Lead, Director of Sales Engineering |
| $100 | 34 | Account Director, Account Executive, Account Manager (Sales) |
The same word can sit in two rows. Read the posting’s function and firm type before the title.
CRM audits are the technical lane
The micro1 revenue-operations listings read like an audit of a messy SaaS revenue stack. They describe contradicting rules, automations still firing under a retired policy, and permissions that do not match the documentation. One customer sits under two legal names. You decide which rule wins and write down why.
Hands-on ownership is the bar. The postings ask for years of configuring fields, flows, validation rules and permission sets yourself. One says management-only or adjacent exposure does not count. Another says practical build experience outranks certifications.
Most also want a second revenue tool such as billing, quoting or ticketing, and one wants SQL and API comfort. Stated experience runs from four to ten years, with a lean towards fintech, healthtech and insurtech.
These 4 listings state hourly rates of $35–100, with few openings each.
A paid interview pays once
Terac’s sales-adjacent listings are mostly single sessions. One interviews independent merchants and general managers about payment terminals, in a short AI-moderated interview. In this group, 3 listings pay a fixed fee per session, which this site never converts to an hourly rate.
A session is one payment for your view of a market. Ethos and micro1 projects are ongoing contract work. Whether AI training can be a full-time income explains why the two should not be added together.
Terac’s Outreach Specialists role pays hourly to call prospective experts and guide them through onboarding. That is recruiting for AI projects, not training a model. For sign-up steps, see Terac’s screening guide.
Keep your pipeline and your employer out of it
- Customer data belongs to your employer. The micro1 audits ask you to analyse CRM, billing and ticketing data. The postings do not say whether it is real or invented, so never bring your own pipeline, price lists or commission plans.
- You cannot check for a conflict. Ethos and micro1 postings do not name the client, only “a leading foundational AI lab” or “a customer”. Ask your employer about outside work before you accept.
- Your contract may reach further than the posting. Read any non-compete or non-solicitation clause first. This site cannot advise on it.
Where you can work from
1 of the 83 listings are limited to the US, by their location field or their own wording. Ethos postings say fully remote and name no country. Outside the US explains how to read a posting that names no country.
Which lane to try first
If you have built the decks salespeople sell with, try the Ethos project. It covers the most titles, and one profile reaches all of them. If you ran Salesforce or HubSpot yourself, the micro1 audits ask for exactly that, and micro1’s AI interview is the next step. See every open sales role for the current list.
What the postings do not say
- How much Ethos work reaches you after matching, and for how long. Ethos states a weekly maximum, not a minimum.
- Whether the data in a micro1 audit is real or invented.
- How long a micro1 or Ethos project runs.
- Whether the Mercor sales listing is contract or employment.
This site is not affiliated with any platform named here, and passing a screening is not a promise of work.
