What each platform's screening involves

micro1 244 open roles
You apply for a role, then sit an AI interview that micro1 describes as taking 20 to 40 minutes. That interview is the screening step micro1 sets out publicly, and no prior AI experience is required for many of the roles.

Mercor 331 open roles
Mercor's application asks you to upload a resume, complete the assessments a role requires and verify your work authorisation. Then comes an AI interview, which Mercor says takes about 20 minutes for most people and is the only way it screens candidates. There is no human-interview alternative. You can retake an interview up to three times.

Terac 54 open roles
Terac requires a verified government ID before you can apply; its guide says the application is locked until you do. Each opportunity then has its own screener: a short form, an AI voice interview Terac says takes 5 to 10 minutes, or a file upload. Screener questions typically take 2 to 5 minutes, and each opportunity allows one attempt.
