What the work is
Mercor is gathering a list of interested parents for the Youth Well-being Project, an upcoming research study led by Stanford University in collaboration with Bocconi University, focused on how smartphones and digital tools affect children and families.
Please note: this is not an active project yet. We're collecting expressions of interest now so we can reach out when the study opens — expected within the next ~3 months. Applying simply registers your interest — there's no commitment and nothing to do right now. We'll email you when the study is ready.
We're looking for parents in the United States who have a child aged 9–13 with their own smartphone. You can pick one child to take part with you.
If the study is a fit, you'd later be asked to

Install a parental-control app on your child's phone for the duration of the study
Your child completes two short online surveys and a few text-message check-ins
