What the work is
Role Title: Powerpoint Specialist
Role Type: Contractor
Location: Remote
micro1 is engaging Powerpoint Specialists to contribute to a dynamic customer project focused on Project Navara. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.
Scope of Work
- Design and initiate realistic, complex business tasks relevant to professional PowerPoint, Excel, and Word use, simulating scenarios from Fortune 500 environments.
- Collaborate with an advanced language model (LLM) to discuss, edit, and create Office Open XML files, especially focusing on .pptx formats.
- Assess and compare two LLM-generated deliverables per task turn, selecting the most accurate and effective result based on quality dimensions.
- Create prompts and tasks that would typically require substantial business acumen and multi-hour effort to accomplish without AI assistance.
- Engage in structured, four-turn conversations with the LLM, offering feedback and preferences after each round.
- Document observations and recommendations to improve LLM handling of real-world business documents.
- Provide expertise in handling cross-functional use cases such as reporting, presenting, analyzing, and proposing within various industries and business functions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of recent experience working on complex projects within Fortune 500 companies or top-tier consultancies.
- Advanced skills in PowerPoint, with significant exposure to Excel and Word, and a strong track record in professional business document creation and review.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute projects in sectors such as finance, healthcare, consulting, tech, or retail and across functions like strategy, operations, sales, marketing, finance, or HR.
- Experience crafting realistic business scenarios and workflows for use in modeling, reporting, and executive presentations.
- Comfortable communicating in-depth, both in writing and verbally, and adept at formulating clear, actionable feedback.
- Prior engagement with LLMs or AI-powered tools is highly desirable, especially in iterative, conversational formats.
- Titles such as private equity associate, investment banking analyst, consultant, FP&A analyst, HR professional, or marketing strategist are a strong fit for this opportunity.
